✦ Rules ✦

Kids. Don't be a butt. Remember to be kind to other players, and if you have any issues with someone, try to settle them politely and respectfully. Harassment and bullying will not be tolerated, and please remember that your mods are here to help you in the event of unresolvable conflict.

IC =/= OOC. Please remember to keep IC and OOC actions separate. If players A's character does not like player B's character, it does not mean player A dislikes player B.

No godmodding/infomodding. Please don't take over the actions of someone else's character, or have your character presume to know things they haven't learned yet. Ask a player for permission before doing something using their character, or if yours can know something about another.

Mark explicit content. The game may be Adventure Time-themed, but we don't expect everyone to play out rainbows and sunshine all the time. If themes get into the R rating, make sure to mark it. If you're planning on do the nasty (you know: NC-17), please take it to your personal journals; it can still be part of game-canon, we just don't want younger players exposed to it (sorry, kiddos!).

Stay active. Being active in a roleplay game is what makes roleplay fun, right!! Tag strangers, tag friends, tag mod posts, because we love tagging you. And, of course, there's the no-so-fun (but very necessary) Activity Check to keep in mind. You need to meet only one of the following requirements every two months.

One post in the main comm, containing twenty (20) comments or more by your character.
One post in the logs comm, containing twenty (30) comments or more by your character.
A joint post with at least twenty (20) comments from you.
At least two (2) threads that total twenty (20) comments or more by your character. Can be from the main comm or logs comm.
Here is a larger explanation of activity guidelines!

Don't abuse strikes and hiatuses. Character squatting can be very frustrating, and the mods definitely don't appreciate it either. If we find that a player is abusing the system, he or she will be barred from applying for new characters until further notice.

Rule breaking. We do keep track of those who break the rules. You will always receive a first warning on any offence. After that, the severity of the punishment can vary depending on the act.
